A native South Floridian, Tony Seepersad graduated from the University of Miami with Bachelor of Music and Master of Music degrees. While in school he served as concertmaster at the Cannon Music Camp and at the Eastern Music Festival. Since graduation he has recorded with several acclaimed artists such as Cristian Castro, Ricardo Montaner, Juanes, and Barbra Streisand. He has also performed on stage with such artists as Barry Gibb, Josh Groban, and Pavorotti. He can currently be found playing with the South Florida Symphony and Miami City Ballet among other groups.
In addition to playing the violin, Tony is also a noted pianist, singer and conductor. He currently sings with Miami Jazz Voices, serves as vocal coach, rehearsal pianist, and musical director for productions at the Seminole Theatre in Homestead, and plays keyboards with the South Florida Symphony and Miami City Ballet. In addition to performing Tony is a teacher and clinician with the Greater Miami Youth Symphony where he coaches the very talented and under served students of South Florida.
